Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3 winter tires are Michelin’s H speed rated winter tire for those drivers looking to maintain the precision handling characteristics of their high performance vehicle. The Pilot Alpin PA3 meets Michelin’s Green X standard for low rolling resistance which contributes to better fuel economy and reduced CO2 emissions.

Features

The PA3 offers a directional tread design which offers 10% better acceleration and handling on ice and snow than its predecessors. StabiliGrip Technology allows for more siping in the tread blocks to provide maximum biting edges on the road. Four circumferential channels and sweeping cross grooves remove water and slush from under the tread to reduce hydroplaning and keep you in contact with the road. To ensure the tread rubber stays flexible at low temperatures, Michelin developed the Helio Compound which includes sunflower oil to help keep the rubber flexible. With the addition of the Helio compound, the Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3 stops up to 1.7 metres shorter than its predecessor.
