Michelin X-Ice Xi3 winter tires are the premier winter tire from Michelin for all sizes of vehicles with up to 19″ rim diameters. It is also the first winter tire to come with a 60,000 kilometer limited tread wear warranty.

Features of Michelin X-Ice Xi3 Winter Tires

The Michelin X-Ice meets strict Michelin Green X standards which were created to ensure low rolling resistance. This leads to better fuel economy and reduced CO2 emissions. Michelin Flex Ice technology is composed of a silica based tread rubber compound which increases flexibility in the tread and traction on the road surface. Hydroplane resistance is increased in the Michelin X-Ice Xi3 with the addition of micropumps and large circumferential grooves, these clear water and slush from the road surface to give you additional grip. Each tread block features Cross-Z siping which lock together under stress to give extra stability to the tire and increase the number of biting edges. All of these features run through the full depth of the tire, so you’ll get the same great traction you’ve come to expect even as your tire wears away.
