Shipper and Receiver – Afternoons

Tirecraft Ontario we are presently seeking a qualified individual to support our Distribution Centre team in the position of Shipper and Receiver, for the day shift. Join our newly renovated space, 3 times its original size. This individual will help support the Distribution Centre and its Team Members in a fast and busy environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive daily product shipments and capable of reconciling and ensuring accuracy of paperwork
• Track and Record shipment discrepancies
• Organize and disperse materials and shipments into respective storage
• Load and unload tires and wheels from deliveries
• Prepare daily shipments and orders, send on company trucks
• Cycle counts

Deliveries as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract
• Valid truck clamps, forklifts, and high lift picker license preferred, will train as needed
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Organized and keen attention to detail
• Mechanically inclined and knowledgeable about industrial tires
• Physically fit, capable of heavy lifting (50+ pounds)
