The Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season A/S 3 + is an ultra high performance all season tire for drivers of premium vehicles who like to keep driving into November, December, and beyond.  It is available in W and Y speed ratings for the most powerful sedans, sportscars, and convertibles.  Unusual for the ultra high performance category, it comes with a 70,000 km limited tread wear warranty that will help to protect your tire investment.  In the case of split fitments or zero air pressure, this warranty is still available at a reduced number of kilometers.

The Pilot brand has always represented the best available technology from Michelin and the A/S 3 + is no different.  Internal studies have shown that it possesses more dry grip than dedicated summer tire options from leading competitors.  It achieves this through an asymmetrical variable contact patch that was originally developed for endurance racing applications.  This contact patch puts more rubber on the road and effectively spreads out road forces for longer wear and more traction.  It also has the shortest stop distances on wet and dry surfaces of any tire in its Ultra High Performance A/S category.  The Tri-Fusion tread design that incorporates three different components in its rubber blend, including a high percentage of silica, grants the tire exceptionally balanced traction in all kinds of weather, including light snow.  The design of the tread also includes large circumferential grooves with sweeping sipes that funnel away water from the road surface for increased traction and defense against hydroplaning in rainy weather. Variable thickness sipes lock together during cornering, acceleration, and braking to provide more stiffness and greater control.  The innovative Helio + Compound derived from sunflower oil creates a malleable surface that sticks to the road at colder temperatures and when combined with a surplus of biting edge sipes, create a new level of winter traction.
