Sent my wife and kids there with a leaking tire while I was at work out of town. They patched it up and took care of my family when I wasn’t able to. I appreciate those guys more than they know. Good people.

I brought my car in for a radiator flush, they advised me I didn't need it and did not charge me for the service. Sooo much better than the last car service organization that told me I did need one that would cost $200.00 + -- Thanks to the staff at Hanks!!!!

I had a fantastic experience today at Hank’s. I’ve been a customer at the CP location previously and SF was just as great. Manager Mark very kindly fit my car into the schedule and I was on my way quickly after a patch for a screw that had punctured my tire. A huge thank you to Mark and his team for all the help today! I’d highly recommend Hank’s to anyone needing anything tire-related!

Told them I knew nothing about tires and brought my winters in on rims for them to compare. I had had several people tell me my winters were good for this car, but wanted to seek their opinion. The employee told me my tires were incompatible as well as my bolt pattern. He offered me a deal to buy rims and tires and installation for 1000$. Background, I just bought these tires last year brand new but got a new car. After some more research and advice I found out this was untrue and my tires and bolt pattern were compatible. I feel like they were taking advantage of my lack of knowledge. I went to a different reputable tire place and had my tires put on my car with no issues. Do not go here if you do not know your stuff about tires, as they clearly will take advantage. I was very disappointed as I had been to them several times in the past and had good experiences. I will not be giving them my business in future.

I took my Volkswagen to Hanks tire to get my winter tires put on. My car is new to me and as well as the winter tires and stuff so I had a bunch of questions when booking the appointment and Mark ( I hope I got his name right) answered the phone, and he was so patient and kind and answered all my questions. It was actually really nice. I brought my car in had the tire switched out and left, and the whole thing was a great experience. I definitely recommend these guys. Thank you!

Honesty and integrity. I arrived in the late afternoon with an unfixable flat tire. I needed the tire immediately. Both they and I knew that I was in no position to bargain for a good price. I happened to blow a tire right in front of hanks tires ,they jumped into action and quickly helped me get 2 new tires on my work trailer , I highly recommend them for your tire changing needs and anything else they do they were fast , courteous, friendly and very accommodating. I got his oil change special for 130 .they said they checked everything but they didn't. I checked my air filter box it wasn't even removed. You can tell by the dirt on the box.there were no finger prints.it wasn't removed, then he said it would cost me 50 dollars for a filter. On Amazon 26 dollars. Not worth the money, felt ripped off

This place was great, friendly service. WAS being the word. The owner is a nice guy, but the mechanics are not. Took a car in for a safety, cost me $150, just to get a useless piece of paper, saying my signal light flash to fast, and I have a sharp piece on my bumper. And a few other things, that might be legit but after seeing that my signal lights flash too quickly and my bumper is sharp lost all respect. And when I went to pick up the car the mechanic never came out to talk to me about it. Does not give me the warm and fuzzy. So that will be the last time I go there, and I will tell anyone that asks not to bother not worth it.

Did a good job the first time I brought my car there. Second time I tried to swap new tires that I bought from somewhere used and they tried to charge me $180 plus tax because I didn’t buy tires from them. Just called a different mechanic and is charging me $125 plus tax. Thats to remove old ones on rims and installing and balancing the ones I have. I Will not be going here again .

I went to Hank’s after having a very unpleasant experience with a local car dealership. I had a screw in my tire which had broken in half and punctured my tire in two places. The car was only a couple of months old with less than 1,000km on it. The tire in question was the back passenger one and the car is a front wheel drive. This is the second car leased from there and have purchased two others the in past. I was told that I have to replace the tire because it could not be plugged and the because of wear and tear I had to replace both tires. They wanted me to pay $1,200 for two new tires. I asked them to put the spare tire on and give me back the other tire. I called Hank’s explaining the situation. They told me to come right over I showed them a picture of the punctures and what I was told and dealership. They said this is not the first time hearing stories like this. My tire was fixed in less than 20 mins and cost me $50 for a patch, not a plug. They told me it was unnecessary to replace my tire and definitely not necessary to replace the second tire. I have had no issues with my tire since then. Hank’s tire is amazing. They are honest and informative. It is reassuring to know there are still some honest business out there. I definitely recommend Hank’s tire! Thank you for your honesty and fantastic service!

My daughter had her G2 test in Smiths Falls and as we were driving down 15 the check engine light came on, meaning she couldn't use the car for her road test. We flew in there, asked them to check and clear the light.... was in and out in under 10 minutes. Thanks to these guys she completed her test and passed!

Had to replace 20 lugnuts they broke, and they over torqued my tires way too much. So be careful and check your vehicle if you ever get work done here. Staff are friendly and nice. Work they do is poor. Update. Paid $1100 in damages to fix my car from their error. They Over torqued my tires and broke sensors and bearings in the front. And all the lugnuts. Save money! Go somewhere else.

They butchered my brakes. Went back 3 times for noises and vibrations. Another shop had to inspect and refused to touch the bad work. Went back for warranty only after I provided a written report from another mechanic, was told it was fixed. 8 months later (10,000km) they are grinding and squeaking again. EDIT* My E-brake was also magically gone and lug nuts were different.

Flat tire, they looked early so I could find out if it had to be replace (it did). Got a replacement elsewhere (used), and they installed it too. All this between jobs to help out someone in need. Friendly, fantastic service, highly recommend them!
