Dunlop is a well-established presence in racing and they have won an impressive amount of titles, including their first Grand Prix in 1923 and their first 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1924. They are the sole supplier of tires for the British Touring Car Championship and the V8 Supercars Championship, and their relationship with Le Mans continues as they also supply the BMW Motorsport team in the American Series.

Their focus on creating the best tires for professional racing doesn’t just benefit the teams they equip. Dunlop’s many innovations in sport performance tires are always incorporated into their mainstream performance tires so all driving enthusiasts can drive like champions. Some of their design milestones include the addition of Kevlar pulp in the sidewall of their Dunlop Sport Maxx tire to improve steering responsiveness in 2008, and their 1998 roll out of run-flat tires.
