The Champiro IcePro uses multiple manufacturing techniques to offer winter performance similar to what you’d get from a premium product. A blended rubber compound utilizes silica to enhance wet grip and keep the tire soft in cold temperatures. A continual centre block with surrounding chutes helps the tire stay firmly straight during acceleration and clear away water for greater wet traction and less hydroplaning. Sipes are layered throughout the tread surface with each acting as a new biting edge when starting, stopping, or cornering on wet or slippery surfaces.

Stud location was a secondary consideration in this design. The studs are distributed throughout the tire in a manner that lets it have more grip while creating less road noise than other models.
