The Winterforce uses a directional tread with heavily siped tread blocks to attain great winter performance. The directional tread is comprised of large tread blocks with lots of void space to pull you through deep snow. Each sipe offers an additional biting edge when travelling on slippery surfaces, and because they are molded in a 3D offset design, they resist collapsing upon each other so you won’t lose traction in extreme circumstances.

The Winterforce design features multiple circumferential channels in the tire that clear away liquid from the road surface so the tire can better reach available traction. This also helps keep you from hydroplaning.

For drivers looking for an extra level of ice and snow traction, the Winterforce also comes premolded for #12 studs. If your area allows them, you’ll never experience better performance in extreme winter conditions than with studs.
