For the newest iteration of the Advantage, recent technology breakthroughs enabled big gains in both tread life and performance.  This includes new 3-D active sipe technologies that lock together to prevent slippage and squirm when turning and accelerating.  These new sipes also enable more biting edges per square inch for improved wet braking and snow traction.  The tread compound has also been redeveloped with a greater percentage of silica for better wet handling and less rigidity in cold weather.  Aqua Flume technology is comprised of the network of groove channels that help to reduce and disperse water from the road surface for less risk of hydroplaning and more grip in wet weather.  Extended wear is enabled by the computer optimized footprint with full depth tread features.  This enables the tire to wear down consistently and evenly with superior traction throughout the life of the tire.  A centre rib design helps the tire stay straight at high speeds with quick and responsive handling.  The g-Force sidewall stabilizer is perfect at maintaining control when cornering at high speeds and prevents the tire from warping.  Finally, the ETEC System (Equal TEnsion Containment System) is a manufacturing process that helps the tire to remain in its optimal shape regardless of speed or situation.
