Your vehicle’s suspension is key because it essentially connects it to its wheels. Without a suspension that is in good working order, you will not have stability and you’ll have to endure a bumpy and uncomfortable ride. It is important to have your suspension routinely inspected, which Attersley Tirecraft Port Perry can do quickly and meticulously. Our services include:
It is imperative that all the complicated, moving parts in your suspension are properly aligned to ensure efficient motion and safety. Attersley Tirecraft Port Perry will give your suspension the alignment it needs to provide stability and to function properly. If you feel your vehicle pulling to one side or hear clunking and grinding noises, an alignment is probably in order.
Ball joints are used in just about every automobile, and you need trained and meticulous technicians to assess the ball joints in your suspension to make sure that they are in tip-top shape. Ball joints are also used in tie rod ends.
absorbers, are an integral part of your suspension that need to be regularly inspected to ensure they are giving you
and your passengers stability and a smooth and safe ride. Worn shocks can impact other important parts of your vehicle and can have safety implications, including:
Struts might be passive braces reinforcing the chassis or active components of your suspension. A suspension strut combines the primary function of a shock absorber and the ability to add support to the chassis. Your struts may require service if you find your vehicle shaking or bouncing after hitting a bump in the road.
Control arms are hinged suspension links between the chassis and the suspension.
Steering is—as most people would recognize—kind of important in your vehicle. Without it, your vehicle is useless and dangerous. You should always have your steering inspected if you feel your vehicle pulling.
Bushings in your suspension are most commonly made of (synthetic) rubber and separate metal objects while still permitting a degree of movement. This allows the suspension parts to move freely when going over bumps, while also reducing grinding noise and small vibrations.
The camber angle is the angle made by the wheels of your vehicle. It’s the angle between the vertical axis of the wheels and the vertical axis of the automobile as seen from the front or the back.
Wheel bearings are sets of steel balls bound by a metal ring called a race. They allow the wheel to spin with very little friction. Wheel bearings add stability to your ride. If you hear a clunking or grinding noise, you should bring your vehicle in to Attersley Tirecraft Port Perry for an inspection, as clunking and grinding noises often arise from misaligned or imperfect wheel bearings.
At Attersley Tirecraft Port Perry we offer a variety of products and services to enhance your vehicle’s suspension.
Our ASE-certified technicians will do everything to keep your vehicle in great shape.

Used to be great, used them exclusively for the last 5+ years. Mount/balance tires, change snows on 5 different cars. Took new set in as usual, was told that the owner now "hates mounting tires not bought here" so has DOUBLED the price to mount/balance 4 tires. Used to be around $100, now $200. Nice guy working was sympathetic, but said owner was insistent. I'm sure he won't miss my business, but went to competitor next street over, $100, friendly professional service and they'll get my work from now on.

I was driving through Port Perry and hit a pothole causing my tire to go flat. I went to a service centre to fill it and it wouldn't fill. Google Maps directed me to Attersley for tire service and I slowly crept there. Aaron's team showed me that my inside wheel rim was bent so the tire couldn't fill. They couldn't fix this, but they put on the spare for me for no charge and gave me a contact to a rim repair shop which was able to help me. So appreciate the kind assistance and I'm happy to recommend Attersley to anyone.

Came to fix a flat on a spreader, put a tube in even though the side wall was a mess. New agricultural tire was $300 but spent nearly $200 between service call and tube rather then recommending new tire. Next day charged another service fee and the new tire $450. Oh well anyone can make mistakes. Recently replaced eight 15 year old heavy truck tires on my farm truck. Old tires had 90% tread, so I asked for them. They told me they could sell them as yard truck or trailer tires. I thought Ag use like hay wagon etc. After a call every week for 8 weeks with no call backs or information about my tires I finally said I would be over to pick them up. Now they say they disposed with them for safety reasons. They never said anything about that before, and they were my tires to do with as I please. Now the best they can do is give me garbage no tread casings or nothing. To bad so sad. Not cool. Not good communication, not good business.

I took my car in to Attersley Tire in Port Perry after I had a flat tire. They immediately checked my tire and since it couldn’t be repaired they were able to order a new tire. I was told they’d be able to put it on that afternoon. As soon as I went back they put on my new tire and had me on the road again very quickly. They were all very professional and friendly. I would recommend them. Thanks Attersley!
