The race inspired design came naturally through years of track testing and performance. It comes with a high percentage silica compound for increased grip on wet and dry road surfaces. The unidirectional arrowhead tread design looks cool and offers premium grip in both wet and dry weather. Block edges are tapered to prevent irregular wear and increase block stability for better handling. The extra void area provided by the tapered blocks also helps to increase your defense against hydroplaning. The majority of water evacuation is handled by the Multi-Width EVAC Channels that narrow as they approach the shoulder for more traction during cornering. Narrow sweeping grooves that cross the EVAC channels are referred to as Stability Control Slits. As expected, these slits increase the stability of each block and help keep your grip consistent during aggressive driving. The race inspired casing construction creates a larger contact patch that keeps more rubber on the road during even the most aggressive of steering.
