The newest tire from Yokohama continues to expand their line of BluEarth products that rely on environmentally friendly manufacturing processes, like using Orange Oil instead of petroleum. In addition to having less environmental impact, the Geolandar G055 is also quieter with better fuel efficiency than its predecessors.

It has zig zag grooves that help minimize noise and create extra traction on wet roads. Wet traction is further enhanced by the addition of four circumferential grooves that clear away water from the road surface. Shoulder blocks are interspersed with connected sipes and grooves that give the tire extra stiffness for faster steering response. A newly developed tread compound gives the tire longer lasting wear and excellent grip on both wet and dry surfaces.
