Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2

Overview of Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2

The Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2 is a winter tire for light trucks, Crossovers, and SUVs that offers excellent studless ice traction and unparalleled snow capabilities. It covers a large percentage of the light truck tire market in sizes from 15 to 22 inches. It comes with a government approved snow flake symbol classifying it as a winter tire.

Features of Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2

The prime feature of the DM-V2 is the nano-cell multipro tread compound that wicks away water from the surface of ice and hard packed snow so you can get added winter traction during inclement weather. This rubber compound also stays soft in cold weather for added grip as the temperature drops. The newly developed directional tread design has an increased number of block edges over the previous generation for increased traction on every kind of surface. It also has 3D sipes that help tread blocks to stay rigid during cornering, accelerating, and stopping for less drop off in traction. These sipes also act as additional biting edges on slippery snow and ice. The aggressive tread also has effective rain and slush capabilities through the inclusion of two circumferential grooves that clear away water and provide added defense against hydroplaning.

Choosing Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2

For an aggressive and effective winter tire for your light truck or SUV, the Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2 is the latest in a long line of technologically advanced performers with exceptional ice and snow capabilities.
