Pirelli Winter Ice Zero

Overview of Pirelli Winter Ice Zero

The Pirelli Winter Ice Zero is an aggressively designed winter tire for sedans, SUVs, and minivans engineered to provide extreme ice control, especially when equipped with studs where available. It carries a number of technological improvements that benefit studding as well as normal usage. The tire is available in a wide range of rim diameters from 14 to 20 inches and even comes in run flat variants for drivers who need a little extra assurance.

Features of Pirelli Winter Ice Zero

Pirelli started with a directional tread that is carved with sharp angles and rigid biting edges for extra power when pulling through snow and slush. Each block is heavily siped for additional traction on ice, slush, and cold packed snow. The proprietary rubber compound contains a heavy silicate blend for added toughness and grip in frigid temperatures. Special attention is paid to stud placement so more studs can be used without affecting durability. Each pin location has a wider base with a flat wall so you’ll drop less pins during heavy manoeuvring and give each individual pin better placement for improved grip. The tread footprint has sweeping grooves that pull double duty as gripping edges and as evacuation points to clear away water and slush from the road surface.

Choosing Pirelli Winter Ice Zero

If you need a premiere winter tire with excellent traction on snow and ice (with or without the optional studs), the Pirelli Winter Ice Zero would make an excellent upgrade or replacement for your current all season tires.
